This book is about the romance between Julian and Christine a slave and the daughter of a slave owner. Literary license is used in this book, it tells of their escape from her tyrannical father. Her rise as a world renown designer and him as a lawyer. They had many enemies to defeat, Christine's ex-boyfriend who is determined to kill Julian to get her for himself. Lizzie, Julian's ex-girlfriend who will do anything even murder to get her Julian back. Nice read.
