Daphne Carter is an executive at the Versailles Casino and Resort in Las Vegas. Zach Hepson is a twelve year old boy forced into performing a phony psychic act at county fairs by his oft inebriated father. Their lives couldn't be more different. When Zach arrives in Vegas and embarrasses a popular showman during his act, he sparks a chaotic chain of events that alter his and Daphne's lives forever. The two find themselves allied in navigating a bloody web of power and deceit, matched against two con men, a famous detective, and a ruthless businessman.
