Every fifty years Tielo summons Yvo to an ancient bell tower. Tielo has the right to rewind Yvo’s clockwork heart and condemn him to serve his family for another cycle of the Carillon. Yvo has one compelling reason to live — little Rein, fifth descendant of his child has disappeared and Yvo must find him. But how can he ask the lover he betrayed to help him?
