Brides of the Monsters

Christie has waited years for her wedding night. She’s saved herself for marriage and can’t stand to wait any longer, so ready for her husband Adam she’s ready to tear his clothes off with her teeth. Yet when they reach the hotel room after the reception disbands, his ardor dries up and he spurns her advances. He’s too tired, it’s been a long day, and he wants it to be special, he says. Hoping her dreams will be fulfilled the next morning, she’s ready when she wakes up, only to be greeted with another refusal and more excuses. They have a long drive ahead of them, he says, and he doesn’t want to rush. Longing for their consummation to be passionate and special, she agrees.

After a long trip to his home town and the bed and breakfast they’ll be calling home for the next week, she all but demands he take her then, and again he refuses.

Frustrated and consumed with desire, she manages to struggle off to sleep while he dozes calmly beside her, but when she wakes up, her new husband is gone, all the doors are open, and there’s a bonfire on the beach, lighting the night like a second sun. Her new husband and the town he calls home harbor a dark secret, and the wedding ceremony has only just begun…
