Yogan, after more than 30 years no longer a stranger in his adopted country, lived through the catastrophic events of 3/11 just 20 miles from the terminally ruined Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.

Life changed dramatically on and after March 11, 2011.

Yogan was spared in many ways. The M 9.0 megaquake did not break him. The killer tsunami stopped short of his street in Yotsukura, a sleepy little fishing village twenty miles south from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. And the triple meltdown of Dai-ichi miraculously came to a halt somewhere below the crippled plant.

Life changed all the more as it went on as if nothing had happened. This, the second catastrophe, is the real one, Yogan now thinks.

Not to go mad he began to write down what he saw. What his wife of thirty years and he had to go through since March 2011, just like countless fellow humans here. Writing it down Yogan began to understand about this mess.
