In the Beginning... establishes the series with the fall of all the major cities. A lone survivor in Florida, Judy takes refuge in an abandoned apartment. There, she discovers the journal of another refugee, Zac. The journal tells of a life after death, love gained and lost. Zac’s writing tells the beginnings of his journey yet to come.
