Death on the Nile

With more major science fiction and fantasy awards than any other writer, Connie Willis has been named a Grand Master by the Science Fiction Writers of America. A Hugo Award-winning short story, "Death on the Nile" uses horror to create an atmospheric contemplation on death. Three couples on a European vacation hop a flight to Egypt to explore the ancient ruins. However, after a nightmarish bout of turbulence, the couples begin to entertain the idea that something has gone terribly wrong. Engulfed in an eerie fog, the contingent arrives at its destination only to find themselves prey to mythical monsters of the underworld.
