**Sword and Sorcery **

A gripping read of prejudice and strength, of friendship and conflicted emotions.

‘The darkness of my heart corrupts my mind, it’s so easy to forget civilised behaviour, yet I'm not wholly ruined nor without redemption, nonetheless most of society treats me with contempt, always accepting my silver, yet seldom with cheer.’

'I am Miller, a half-orc warrior sorcerer, a servant of none, yet indebted to two individuals a Dwarf and a Halfling, and destined to build a kingdom.'

This story tells of Miller’s escape from slavery in a world where prejudice abounds and only the most intelligent or strongest survive.

Book Two is released by the end of this year or January 2019

.....Since the age of eight, Miller a Half-Orc has known nothing but servitude and torture, forced to works his entire life in captivity on a farm whilst learning a secret and hidden rudimentary arcana. Miller has been awaiting the day to free himself from his bonds.

The years spent complying to the whims of his master, Joe, at least brought an understanding of patience, combined with the knowledge that his fathers blood flowing through his veins would one day provide the strength needed to break free.

Escaping from his shackles the Half-Orc seeks solace in the only person who’s ever shown any form of kindness, Tam a Halfling. Miller becomes reconciled to the conflicting rage of his orcish father and his human mother, channelling his talents to excel under Tam’s tutelage.

Introduced to a Dwarven Warlord, who’s stern and formidable presence enhances his determination to succeed, he is taught martial skills and wins over the dwarfs admiration, securing a second unexpected ally in life, for dwarves and orcs are not blessed with ready acceptance of one another.

Battling conflicted morals, and coming to terms with the strength and weaknesses that are inherent in his blood, he ventures into a world of politics and prejudice.

Unknown to most he strives to survive and prosper, an evil heart counterpoised by his human nature, determined not to bring reproach on his only two friends. Miller’s not wholly evil, yet the world tries very hard to help him forget.
