Abbigail Norrington has finally made it back to the cabin she calls home. Abby, bruised and battered from her journey, is resting and is on the mend. In this new life though, how long could it be before she's presented with the next life-threatening situation? Knowing Abby's luck, it isn't very long.

When a shadowy stranger is found watching the cabin, it raises the question, will this person prove to be the savior they all need? Or will they only make everything more complicated for Abby and those she promised to keep safe at the cabin?

Led by a twisted and enigmatically theatric Dr. Constance Brigantine, what remains of the United States Military is unknowingly intertwined with Brigantines mission to cleanse the planet using whatever means she feels are necessary. However, in this new world, things are often not what they seem. This proves to be the case at Brigantine's compound when the soldiers and doctors begin to see through the deranged Brigantine's plans and refuse to be pawns in her twisted game any longer. During an unforeseeable experiment gone wrong, the game has changed. Brigantine is no longer running the show, and Abbigail is not immune to this newly created monster, turning the tables in favor of the undead once again.

Will Abby and her family survive the struggle between her past and her future? Or will the tangled link between the psychotic Doctor Brigantine, the mysterious stranger, and Abbigail herself unravel everything Abby has worked so hard to maintain? Perhaps more importantly, will the human race survive or will the road to perdition end with the undead inheriting the earth?
