Running a rescue shelter is an emotional business, but Max wouldn't have it any other way. His personal life however, he prefers to keep as uneventful as possible, just him and his three dogs. The last thing he's looking for is a relationship. So when a former one-night stand walks through the doors of Max's shelter, Max is in for a surprise.

Robert's just looking to adopt a dog for his daughter, but when he's faced with the man he hooked up with three months ago, a man he hasn't been able to stop thinking about since, he decides to take a chance and see what happens next.
