This last year has been a dream for Maira, filled with magic and gentle emotions. With each passing day, her knowledge of Fae husbandry increases- as does her love for the young King Helios. All that changes when Maira becomes engaged to a local rancher's son. As much as she loves Helios and his people, there's one fact that will never change- Maira is a human farm girl and Helios is a Fae King. Then, in the heat of summer, snow begins to fall.
