Refuting Rabbinic Objections to Christianity & Messianic Prophecies

For us, Jews growing up in Israel, Jesus and His word are never part of the conversation. Not in our school system, not in our synagogues, and not in our media. Nor do we get access to the New Testament. Jesus, has been forced out of our lives.

Today in Israel, 99.7% of all the Jewish population, do NOT believe Jesus to be the Messiah. How did the country where the gospel first took place, become so much against it?

Imagine Judaism during the last two millennia – any kind of spiritual message one wished to bring in, had to go through the “gate keepers”, who are of course the Orthodox Jewish Rabbis (“Pharisees”), whom Jesus accused:

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven from people; for you do not enter in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.” (Matthew 23:13)

Ever since the days of Messiah, the Rabbis consider themselves the gospel’s greatest enemy, blocking the message of the gospel from Israel, not allowing Jewish people to hear about the free salvation offered to them in the death and resurrection of their own Jewish Messiah.

For too long, our Jewish rabbis have been the gatekeepers of any spiritual message directed at our people. Unfortunately, these same rabbis, rejected Jesus as our Messiah and did everything in their power to conceal His message, keeping our Jewish people in spiritual darkness. But today, after almost 2000 years, Jesus, or as we call him in Hebrew, YESHUA…. is no longer the best-kept secret among Jewish people in Israel!

Today, our ministry, ONE FOR ISRAEL, reaches Jewish and Arab Israelis exactly where they are – online. We no longer need the rabbis permission for anything. Actually, we go straight into their children’s smartphones, tablets, and computers – sharing the saving gospel of Yeshua the Messiah!

While in the past the message of the gospel came to Israel from outside our borders, delivered by people who didn’t understand our language, our culture, our heritage and our way of thinking. Today, we, Jewish and Arab Israelis, are the ones bringing the gospel back, where it started – back to our own people Israel, in our own native tongues of Hebrew and Arabic. We can relate the gospel to our people in a way that makes sense to them, like only an Israeli can, helping our people understand who Yeshua really is.

The Orthodox rabbis in Israel operates an “anti missionary” organization, called Yad L'Achim. This very well-funded organization, who is working very closely with the Minister of Interior in the Israeli government, has it’s sole purpose in persecuting us, the Jewish believers in Jesus in Israel, and objecting the gospel in any possible way (not always legal). Starting 2014, Yad L'Achim, who has in file over 90% of names, photos and address of all Jewish believers in Israel, started sending a magazine called “searching”, which contains objections and refutations from orthodox rabbis to the messiahship of Jesus, to the credibility of the New Testament, and to Christianity, trying to ridicule and destroy the belief of Jesus. This caused more than several Jewish believers, including an ex-missionary, to deny their faith in Jesus and go back to rabbinic Judaism.

In these past 5 years, I took upon myself to go over all of their magazines, books and videos, in order to answer their arguments and prove their objections false. Since 2015 we have released about 150 short videos where we share the gospel and quote and answer these rabbinic objections to Jesus, New Testament and Christianity. This book is a compilation of edited transcripts from some of those videos, all in one place for your consideration. While the content of this book is based on 5 years of academic research, I did my best to write it in a simplistic, easy to read way.
