In the post-apocalyptic West, Byron, Damien, Blice, and Isidore escape from a high security prison. As M.A.G.E.s, Material Altering Genetic Experiments, they are running from the Inquisition whose purpose is to find and control failed genetic experiments. Their powers set them apart from the other citizens of the wasteland who are not welcome inside the lead walls of Paradise, the capital of the Unified State. The lead prevents any M.A.G.E.s from using their abilities to breach the walls and join the privileged and wealthy of the world. With another global war brewing and the Inquisition on their trail, will they be able to escape and find a life in the wasteland and discover the secrets of the Inquisition?
