The Soldier's Song

In the island kingdom of Haugar war, battle, and conquest are worshipped. The god of war sits atop of a throne made from his enemies, gazing down on his chosen people with his one, white eye.Prolur di Sangior, a legendary general in the haugarian army, is wary of the fight and death. He seeks solace behind the walls of a monastery, but conflict follows him.When the king is usurped Prolur becomes caught in the middle of two opposing sides, both of whom believe he stands against the new leader. In an attempt to escape the situation he flees to the newly conquered land of Saurania, only to find his past waiting for him there. Now Prolur must stand and fight, or flee once again.The Soldier's Song is the prelude to the burgeoning civil war that threatens to destroy the island kingdom born out of blood.
