Ogma is a Verrish wolf, living a traditional lifestyle in the village of Didcot, away from humans and modern technology. Mated to a hot alpha, and with a baby on the way, everything looks set for him in life.

Fate is not so kind, though, and when Ogma loses his baby, he is declared a Desolate, a tainted omega who must be exiled for the wellbeing of the pack. He is sent to the city of Ivybridge, a world completely unlike the one he knows, full of strange humans and even stranger wolves.

Theo is a city wolf stuck in a rut. He’s in a low-pay job in a high-pay city, and he’s still hung up on his ex. Everything changes when one day he finds a strange wolf lying injured in the road. Theo takes Ogma in, showing him how the city works and looking after him. But Ogma is hiding something, keeping his distance from Theo.

Despite their differences, the two fall for each other. But both are holding back. Ogma is afraid that he’ll taint Theo, and that Theo won’t want a Desolate omega. Theo’s worried he’ll make the same mistakes that caused him to lose the last omega he had.

Neither wolf can face up to their fears, but both want so desperately to give in to the desire raging between them. They’ll both have to realise that they need each other in order to move on, so they can create a new future for themselves, together.
