High Stepping Murder

Alexandra Byrne and Lance Donovan are visiting the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, but it's not a happy occasion. The show horse trainer who taught Lance all about riding and training has turned up dead in the stable where he worked. And two years before, the very wealthy socialite stable owner's husband died at that same place under very mysterious circumstances.

Then the socialite's favorite horse is stolen right from the show grounds and held for a million-dollar ransom – and it falls to Alex and Lance to rescue the champion horse and keep anyone else from meeting an untimely death.
