Dalla romanza e dal l'inno passai alla cantica, saltai alla novella, m' ada giai nel poemetto; scrissi un Dione, e, bisogna pur che lo confessi, una Fausta e Crispo, che vide poco dopo la luce e che fu e sar�, modestia da parte, il pi� sciocco, se non il pi� grosso peccato della mia vita.
