Proceedings of the Ninth International Symposium on Trace Elements in Man and Animals (Tema-9)

The Ninth International Symposium on Trace Elements in Man and Animals (TEMA-9) was held in Banff, Alberta, Canada, from May 19 to May 24, 1996. This was the latest in the series of symposia which started in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1969, and the first to be held in Canada. The meeting brought together 309 scientists from 38 countries who, while specializing in a variety of disciplines including nutrition, analytical chemistry, genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, animal sciences and toxicology, share a common interest in trace elements.
