Learning to Fly

Pete has a beautiful wife, a bright son and is on the cusp of a major promotion that would complete his vision of a perfect life. Then depression strikes and threatens it all. To rescue his marriage and career, Pete enlists the help of an unconventional, poker-playing therapist named Gabriel who challenges Pete’s belief that he’s just not one of those “happy people” and begins to turn Pete’s life upside down. Told with a touch of humour and suspense, this is a story about a man’s battle with an invisible disease and his struggles through a strategy of drugs, diet and psychotherapy.
