Annie, Ursula, Manon, and Penny. They were friends at college, close friends - and on that last, apparently perfect Oxford afternoon they'd drunk champagne and tried to imagine what the future held in store. Now they meet again - same place, and another glorious summer. But Penny is no longer with them, and for the other three, this is a time to confront the reality of their lives. During the course of one highly charged weekend, old passions are revived, love newly found and long-held secrets revealed.
