A war that had lasted twenty years had been won by an arcane spell, unleashing a hideous evil on earth. Thousands of lives were sacrificed to the desire for power of some were satisfied. A citadel was built to train new warriors and face the threat.

After years of battle a veteran guardian believes that he can finally leave the battlefront, but a sickening agreement destroys his hopes.
