Chasing Happy

A recluse with a dark past, Rosie Knight wants nothing more than to be left alone. She has a job that provides her with plenty of solitude, a cute little place to live in the middle of nowhere and a whole lot of quiet.

She has no interest in befriending Max, the sexy farmer next door who makes her self-induced exile hard to maintain and happens to be her boss's brother. His easy smile and thoughtful nature are tempting but there's something else about him that draws Rosie in.

His aura. Green and bright, thick like fog it surrounds soothes her.

Max has been busy building a business from the ground up but he's willing to dial it back if it means he gets to spend some time with the elusive Rosie. Her shocking white hair and mysterious eyes draw his attention but her reluctant isolation piques his interest more.

The way she holds her hands up and steps back when he offers her a ride.
