Nothing is what it seems as the end of an era approaches.

When a powerful psion and New Republic informant goes missing, Agent Tsenka Cho begins to fear for the life of her longtime friend. She enlists of the aid of the reluctant and timeworn mage Taq Jones to help follow the seer’s trail across the globe.

But as soon as the duo step foot onto Indian soil, Tsenka finds herself hunted by a vampire slayer, a powerful warlock, and an intolerant Mumbai megacorporation, all while a woman from Taq’s past offers him government assistance in their search.

Deep inside hostile territory and guided only by mysterious visions of their friend, Jones and Cho become a catalyst for a clash between the worlds of man, nocturnal, and awakened that threatens to sunder the world.
