La Muerte De Montaigne

In 1588, on the eve before the wars between Catholics and Protestants stain Europe in blood, Michel de Montaigne, a respected philosopher, met in Paris with a young admirer of his work, Marie de Gournay, and Montaigne, fiftyfive years old and "happily married," launches a mysterious relationship with the exalted Marie, which becomes his "adopted daughter."
