Germany's Third Empire

Arthur Moeller van den Bruck's magnum opus Das Dritte Reich was written as an answer to what Moeller van den Bruck perceived as the weakness and chaos of the Weimar Republic. Written in 1923, just two years before his death, he calls for a new revolution from the right to remedy the problems of his time, building on what he had previously written in Das Recht der jungen Völker. While the title was later exploited by the Nazis, Moeller van den Bruck himself rejected Hitler and the National Socialist Party as "proletarian" and "primitive".
