Loki and Irma have made it to the pirate planet of Birmingdoop. Loki is grimly on the trail of his stepbrother and the stolen family treasure, but Irma is utterly distracted, bemused and delighted by the alien planet. And then there are the Doopers, the planet’s indigenous, sentient species.

The Doopers are the embodiment of Irma’s dreams of encountering aliens and exploring the galaxy.

But if Irma is delighted, Loki is frustrated! And it’s never good when a Viking man gets frustrated. Before you can whisper “berserker”, trouble has a tendency to explode.
