The world is a dull place when you live forever. The Fae world is full of intrigue and backstabbing but the human world is so prejudiced against my kind. My name is Alice and I am what they call an Illusionist. The thing is my power does not create illusions like the rest of my line, it creates dimensions. I first discovered this as a child when I wished for a place all my own. Still a dreamland as a child was not meant to last forever. Now as an adult I have the power to make a place stick. I wanted a place as full of life and emotion as the human world but as beautiful as the Fae world. So I created IvyWood. I hoped it would grow, would fill with citizens I could love and protect throughout my never-ending life. I could never have imagined how much it would take on a life of its own.
