I just got assigned a new job at the precinct.

I have to protect a celebrity coming to town, act as her personal bodyguard.

It’s just like any other job, and I know what I’m doing.

Me, my uniform, and my hard abs are at her service.

But the minute our eyes meet, my professional focus is broken.

The instant I see her luscious curves, I lose my bearings.

My bear wants to possess and devour her, not caring about the consequences.

It wants to kiss her plump lips and ditch the rest of the security team.

I’ll do my job, and I’ll protect her alright.

But I knew I was a goner the moment I laid eyes on her.

So my protection is not the only thing I’ll give her.

I’ll give her all of me, because I know one thing for sure:

Her life is in my hands.

But my heart is in hers.
