A Ray of Sunshine

This book is dedicated to our son, Raymond D Gomez, who was shot and killed while at work December 7, 2012. Raymond was only 21 years old when he was killed, and when his life was taken a lot was taken from family and friends. He was described by everyone as: lover of life, best friend, dedicated, loved children, upbeat, crazy, funny, musically talented, strong willed, very independent, awesome co-worker, devoted friend, hero, giver of gifts and this is just to name a few. Raymond liked writing in his younger days, and he has had two poems published by the Young Poets in 2007 and prior. He currently has approximately 30-40 that have not been published. He was an awesome writer and spoke from the heart, and experience. Our devotion to our son’s legacy is to publish his poems/writings in a book as he would have wanted this. Our hopes are that you will find these as heart touching as we have, and that these will find the heart of someone who feels the way Raymond did in hopes that to let you know you are not alone.
