Thanks to the fast action of Sam's Drill Sergeant and a group of Green Berets, Sam and the other soldiers in her Basic training platoon were able to survive the deadly Nerve Agent and EMP that was affected all of North America.

When traveling to Texas to see if her family is still alive, tragedy strikes and Sam is left on her own. She encounters a stray cat and her litter of kittens it gives her hope and leads her to find everything she needs to survive, but can she survive alone after losing the love of her life?
