Marbury Plains Preparatory School in Texas is where wealthy families send their young adult daughters for attitude adjustment and to learn responsibility and respect before risking the cost of a college education on those whose past behavior has given them pause.

Martin Simpson is a high school principal, but his contract was non-renewed due to complaints that he has been too quick to suspend, assign Saturday school and demand accountability.

Superintendent Cecelia Youngblood is a long-time acquaintance who needs a strict new principal for the prep school. When she learns that Martin is available, she hires him at once. However, he will be expected to wield a paddle for any major disciplinary problems.

As Martin arrives to assume his new position, he meets the secretary, Lily Mercer. They are immediately attracted to one another and their romance develops. At first he doesn’t know that Lily finds the use of corporal punishment intriguing, that it stirs new desires only he can address. 

The staid Martin and suddenly frisky Lily set out on a unique and humorous affair when Lily finds that having her bottom warmed also warms her heart.
