Maximiliana Einhardt leads a relatively tough life. She ran away from home a few years ago and works 3 dead end jobs just to pay her way through a very prestigous and expensive private school. On her 17th birthday she finds a small silver bracelet that, unknown to her, begins to give her super powers.

Shortly after she discovers the true strength of her abilities when she's nearly murdered. In a display of super strength she effortlessly ends the life of one of the most evil men she's ever known and comes to a crossroads. Does she use her new powers to save people, or kill the people who are hurting others?

With her future hanging in the balance, Max must decide her own destiny. The only problem is, not everyone understands her struggles. And those people have the right connections to end her life before she can forge her own path.

What will her decision be? And will she be able to realize it before she's killed?
