Mars... Once a barren red rock in space, the MARC program terraformed it into a new frontier. Corporations see the planet as a source of raw materials. Politicians see it as a means to placate the impoverished masses. Jonathon Quinn, however, sees the planet as a plot of land where he can build a brighter future for his new family. His simple notions are quickly discarded as the colonial fleet becomes the focus of sabotage. Dr. Dominic Andreou, a childhood friend of John’s, becomes implicated in a string of attempts to destroy the fleet. After reaching Mars, a manhunt for the doctor ensues across the unexplored surface of the planet. To survive the journey, John must mold the motley talents of friends and family into a cohesive team. Treacherous dangers from afar conspire with demons from within to halt their way at each turn. A tangible battle of wills pits the heart of family against the essence of domination.
