Fangdarr and his friends bear witness to the horrors that await them on their path. A legion of the monstrous trolls surge through Crein in a sea of black, murdering all who oppose them. For their time is now, as their prophetic, mortal deity had promised. The age of mankind is on the brink of eradication as those beneath their heel rise up, chopping limbs and desecrating all the humans hold sacred.

The great, orc chieftain finds himself torn between both paths: the preservation of what is just, or the world at his feet. Though he is no ordinary orc, even Fangdarr discovers that the promises of temptation only grow sweeter with time.
