The Cairo Chronicles follow Agatha’s journey from the first installment, The Scarlet Scarab, which introduces us to the teenage heroine’s world as she embarks on a journey of self discovery in order to find the truth about her parents death in Egypt.

Spies, espionage, secretive organisations, murderous adversaries, an adventuring uncle, a femme fatale, professors, smugglers, gypsies, street kids and a café full of cats all part of the eclectic mix of characters and eccentrics that form the first book and begin to reveal Aggie’s own history.

The Scarlet Scarab takes Agatha on a journey where a plot to overthrow London during WWII is aligned with an attempt to track her down and sacrifice her, as family revelations rise to the surface and her history begins to unravel.
