Twenty-six years old and never been kissed. It’s cute in a movie, it’s downright pathetic in real life.

When I moved to this little town with my sister to open a bakery, I thought it would be a cute place to grow into a spinster. But then I met Officer Jericho Cherry, and now I wonder if falling in love with a handsome police officer could be the icing on my cake.

I chase down bad guys for a living, but for some reason I can’t find the courage to just ask her out. She’s the sweetest thing I’ve ever laid eyes on, and even though I can’t eat her confections, I can’t stop buying them just to have an excuse to see her every day.

But today is the day. I’m going to make that girl mine…no matter what it takes.
