Evelyn lived a normal life until two events changed everything. First, a werewolf recognized her as his mate. Then, the local fox shape-shifters were given a new deadline. Both events happened without her knowledge --and how would she know? The only supernatural world she knows lies within the covers of books. But between finishing her last semester at high school, going on her first date with Shayne (a handsome older guy who seems too good to be true), handling Blake (a persistent newcomer who won't take "no" for an answer), and managing Maddie (her best friend who gives her the cold shoulder just when Evelyn needs her the most), Evelyn has enough on her plate.
