Love should be cherished. Instead many of us take it for granted or destroy it all together. Real love, the most amazing love is the most difficult of all. It requires sacrifice, negotiation, patience, and perseverance. It also requires luck.

John- I'm a dad's worse nightmare. A player, a gangsta and a convict. I destroy sweet innocent girls. I don't love. I don't connect and I sure as hell don't share my feelings. I fuck. Prison has a way of changing a man and for once I am considering settling down. Life is full of choices. Some good , some bad. I chose to protect Rachel, but I chose the wrong girl to settle with. Will Rachel ever let me back into correct my mistake.

Rachel- I'm damaged. Broken, impaired, unstable. It doesn't matter how you say it. I am unworthy. Unworthy of lasting love. I'm not sure I even know what real love looks like. My parents aren't the best examples. My dad is a workaholic and my mom is a mentally ill drug addict. My love life needs all the luck it can get. Love is hard to find when you are closed off afraid to let anyone in your crazy life.

Eli- Good guys always finish last. Hell, I can't say I've been 100% good but I would reform my wandering way for one chance with Rachel. One chance to fix my pretty broken girl. One chance to make her mine. I don't mind competition but I'll be damned if John gets another chance to hurt her.
