The novel follows the investigation of the disappearance of two sisters, 3 and 5 year old, which becomes a journey through the underworld of a roguish Barcelona, where pedophilia, drug trafficking and child pornography are common. The author also goes deeply into the theme of maternity, child neglect and drug use today.
