The Directorate is a shadowy arm of the British government dedicated to fighting things that shouldn’t exist: from immortal cannibal cults to terrorist-summoned demons, the impossible is their business.

When a German cult assassinates the last surviving members of a cabal linked to the Directorate’s origins in World War Two, Valentine reluctantly finds himself on the trail of an evil more powerful than anything he’s previously encountered.
