Andy receives a message from a new DNA relative. It's a close match, close enough to be a brother or sister. But he’s an only child.

He investigates, and events draw him once more into a murky world. Kidnappers take his wife, and Andy needs Roberts’s help to get her back. But Roberts is in jail which poses a dilemma.

Meanwhile, the geriatric investigator Janet discovers a buried secret.
