My life is picture perfect, almost. My father is overprotective, my mother is distant and there’s a constant feeling in the back of my head that I don’t belong here.

I study hard, I travel the world and I adore my sister.

But if my life is so perfect then why are there cracks forming in my little world, letting the darkness in.

A fateful trip to London begins the unraveling of my so-called life.

I’m obsessed with a girl I couldn't save. I may have only been nineteen, but I still regret not doing more to protect her. I wake in the night, feeling her cold, shaking body against mine. I can see her haunting green eyes searching mine for answers. Answers I didn’t have. She was meant to be mine, but she slipped through my fingers.

Disappeared.

I never stopped searching for her. Tracking her enemy, waiting for him to slip. Now that I have her back in my sights, no one will take her from me again.
