Kalista hasn't been a vampire for long, just over a year. She was only 22 when she was turned. Her sire ran into her, laying there dying, and thought she was too young to die. So he turned her. It didn't take long for Janis to realize that Madison is not only a new vampire. She also comes from a very powerful line of witches. Something no one in Madison's family knew.

This makes Madison a vampire/witch hybrid. Which makes her one of the most powerful creatures in the world. Madison is the 6th vampire/witch hybrid in the world. She is rare, and she cannot be killed. Now Janis must talk to Angela, Madison's mom, and try to figure out where the witch came from in her family. Witches in general are very hard to kill, so did that witch leave Madison's family, never to be seen again, or was that witch somehow killed? Add in Madison's witch friend, Julie, and Hazel a new friend of Madison's from Janis' building, and Janis has a trio of teenagers hanging out at her apartment.

As if teenage angst and a super powerful hybrid weren't enough, there's a rogue werewolf going around tearing humans apart. It's time for Janis, Madison, Alex, Ollie, Maggie, and Julie, to come together again and find the rogue before any more humans die.
