Zoe: I'm stunned. There's a flock of parrots in our backyard! No one knows where they came from or how well they can survive in the wild, out of their natural environment. But they aren't as a big a surprise as the sight of my mom, who has just arrived, unannounced, at our door! She wants me to move back home with her, to California.
