Ginger Thorne was having a great time at her twenty-first birthday party. It was at that ball, that she enthusiastically gave her virginity to Nigel Brubre. It was not long afterward that his parents requested to see her. Ginger always knew that the Brubre and Thorne families never got along. This was mainly because Brubre thought they were better then everyone else because of their great wealth and status. Nigel's parents are furious when he backs out of an arranged marriage and runs off to become a monk. This is not good for a warlock of his prestige.

Nigel has decided if he cannot marry the beautiful witch Ginger, then he would marry no one. The innocent Ginger never knew that Nigel carried a torch for her since they were ten years old. His parents put the pressure on Ginger to bring him back home and swear that she will never marry or give him a child. If she does not give into their demands, they will make her and her family’s life hell. The hard decision of all is Ginger realizes she may have loved Nigel all this time and never knew it. Can she turn her back on a love that could be everything she ever wished? Or must be protect her family from ruin? It's a tough decision and Ginger does not have much time to make the ultimate choice.
