Alice Spencer was so bored with her life she'd almost forgotten how excitement felt. Finished with law school, she'd returned to Hope Falls for a short stay before striking out on her own to begin the rest of her life.

Somehow that short stay has never ended and now Alice sees her choices narrowing and her chances of finding love slipping away.
