At Briggs & Trice, Victoria Strauss and Michelle Mayor are the upcoming stars. Victoria is the cold predator who kicks men out of bed. And Michelle is the warm girl willing to help and naive enough to believe she won't be used.

Victoria deals with corporate law. Her wining nets millions for her clients and much the same for the senior partners. Michelle is a divorce lawyer. She gets dead-beat husbands to pay for the bad treatment of their wives and ensures no scandal goes unpunished. Her billable hours are through the roof and her performance is flawless.

When both women are told they are a partner's choice for the next top floor position, the competition becomes fast and hot. Victoria needs to be nicer. Michelle needs to be cut throat.
