Engaged to her college sweetheart but bored with a relationship grown stale, twenty-two-year-old Sarah Mathison’s life turns upside down when she receives a cryptic text message telling her to put on handcuffs and a blindfold in the parking lot by her office. Richard Winston III, the Dragon Master’s right- hand man, oversees recruitment, training, and placement. When Richard first meets Sarah, however, he does not trust himself to act professionally. Struck by her beauty, he watches as Nurse Julia subjects Sarah to humiliating medical examinations, childish dress and activities, and spankings for the slightest misbehavior. His longing for Sarah grows even as she flourishes into the Dragon Lair’s most accomplished recruit. He might control her destiny, but she is out of his league.

Then Major Jeffrey Sanders, Dragon Lair’s most prominent customer, demands to purchase Sarah before her training has finished. Sarah rebels, and Richard is left with the heart-rending realization that he has come to care for her. Will he fulfill his duty to Dragon’s Lair and send Sarah to the highest bidder?
