Princess Ottilia is used to getting her own way - until the day she falls in love with a human.
When the Prince's ship is becalmed on their ocean, both Princess Ottilia and her cousin fall madly in love with him. Competitive and spoilt, Ottilia doesn't like to lose. Ever. Foolishly, she pledges her Siren's body to the cunning and evil Sea Witch in return for a chance to win the Prince's heart.
Plunged into a human world she doesn't understand, where she is neither Princess nor Siren, isn't quite what Ottilia expected - unfortunately neither is the Prince.
The ship's Captain and his crew certainly don't help. Captain Gabe proves himself to be an irritatingly handsome and compelling complication to her well-crafted plan. While the superstitious crew see her as a bad omen and want to throw her back in the sea.
And then, just when all seems lost, matters take a dramatic turn for the worse.
