All of your favorite characters are back in Whisperer to Stars. More snarkiness, more fun, and 20% more tentacles.

Ari, Kirian, Fleek, and the gang are busy being pursued by hordes of space pirates and bounty hunters sent after them by Soda, the Neon Octopus Overlord herself.

The only option they have left is to try to steal the last of what Soda needs to destroy. And they'll have to do it in Vega, the most glamorous vacation destination in the Galaxy. What could possibly go wrong?

From the Author

Excerpt from chapter 1:

Ari crept out of her room toward the bridge of the ship and peeked around the corner. It looked like a barroom brawl scene from an old western. A pirate western. No wonder Kirian was having fun.

She backed up behind the corner to think. What was happening here? What had she missed? Why couldn't she think? And whatever this was, why couldn't it wait until after she had coffee?

She crept out further toward the bridge, in view of the nearest brawl participants, but then was unsure of her next move. Sounds of steel on steel echoed around the ship. Most of them were sword fighting. Are you kidding me? With all of the advanced weapons available nowadays?

"It's the Blue Pixie," Fleek said, spotting her. He was the closest and was fighting his own pirate. "You need more."

"No, I don't," Ari said. She still regretted taking it, even if it did help her think properly after her injury and possibly aided in the formation of ideas that saved a planet. She was still holding out hope that the Blue Pixie part was a coincidence.

Fleek laughed. "You couldn't put on a bra to come and fight? I wouldn't have pegged you as that girl. What will the pirates think of us?"

The pirate swiveled his head away from Fleek and toward Ari. Ari rolled her eyes. Fleek took advantage with a vicious head butt and then finished him off with his sword.

Ari flinched. "Where'd you learn to fight like that? I thought you were a rich kid with a politically connected father?"

"Where'd I learn to fight like a pirate?" Fleek asked. "Clearly, you've never been shipped off to boarding school on Omega Seven."
